We are seeking a Summer Interior Design Intern to join our design team and gain hands-on experience supporting projects from concept through construction. The intern will collaborate with experienced designers and assist with design documentation, materials research, and visual presentations.
Qualifications


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design from an accredited university.
  • Interest in interior environments, materials, and the design process.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
  • Portfolio submissions are encouraged and should highlight design process, conceptual thinking, and visual communication.


Responsibilities


  • Assist the design team during project phases including Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation.
  • Support preparation of floor plans, elevations, finish plans, and presentation materials.
  • Assist with furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selections and documentation.
  • Conduct research on materials, finishes, and products.
  • Assist with renderings, graphics, and presentation materials.
  • Assist with organizing samples and maintaining the materials library as needed.
  • Participate in site visits when opportunities arise to observe existing conditions and construction progress.


Skills


  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
