PHARMACY TECHNICIAN FT [0231]

A-Team Solutions LLC is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a full-time contract position in the inpatient pharmacy at the VA Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Anticipated schedule Evenings 3p-11:30p - (Some weekends and Holidays required), VA reserves the right to adjust this at any time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for prescription preparation that includes but is not limited to: filling and dispensing prescriptions using automation, cart filling, automation replenishment, compounding IV admixture including chemotherapy agents, and for answering patients' concerns in person and on the phone and fulfilling customer service needs.

Requirements:

Citizen of the United States

• Registered with the State of Washington as Pharmacy Technician certification (not a temporary practice permit),
• Holds an active CPhT certification,
• Holds an active National Certification NHA ExCPT or PTCB

* Minimum of one year experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the United States.

1 year Inpatient pharmacy experience required

Must be authorized to work in U.S.
