We have an exciting opening for Materials B - 1st Shift in New Hope, MN.

The Material Handler performs all operations picking and moving materials within their area of control.

Your main responsibilities

  • Loads, unloads, and moves materials within manufacturing shop floor environment (TUG).

  • Delivers internal products in a timely manner to mirror supply and demand of assembly line replenishment system.

  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand; organizes and loads materials onto tug vehicle; conveys materials to or from material storage area, by hand or using electric dolly or fork truck.

  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet; attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.

  • Monitor backlog for shipments to be processed; package and otherwise prepare items for shipment.

  • Resolves problems to meet specifications, notifying Supervisor to obtain additional resources.

  • Keeps equipment operational and in specification by alerting Quality Control or Maintenance of preventative maintenance requirements.

  • Maintains product quality by following established procedures and customer requirements.

We are looking for talent with

  • High school education or equivalent.

  • 2 years' work experience in a materials environment (shipping, receiving, stockroom).

  • Ability to read, write and speak English.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently & cooperatively in a team environment.

  • Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to fulfill business requirements.

  • Working knowledge of personal computers and willingness to advance PC skills as needed.

  • Previous experience in the flow, delivery, and organization of materials

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation

  • The hourly pay for this position is $21.11 per hour with the ability to earn up to $24.00.
