DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Telecommunications Intern, you will learn how to:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot conference room equipment and A/V collaboration gear
- Handle telecom related service tickets across voice services, phones, Microsoft Teams, mobile devices, call centers, and conference room systems
- Manage and support mobile devices through a mobile device management (MDM) solution
- Troubleshoot voice services, Teams devices, and collaboration hardware
- Support call center platforms, including setup, configuration, and issue resolution
- Assist with phone systems and voice services across the enterprise
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Internship, approximately May 2026 through August 2026 with the potential to extend through the first week of January 2027
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Internship Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in college full-time (carrying 12 or more undergraduate credits, or 9 or more graduate credits) pursuing majors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other IT related majors.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- In good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher)
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
