About Us

Overview

As Brightview's Manager of Communication and PR you will create, publish, and monitor the effectiveness of content for Brightview Senior Living across internal communications, the company blog, website, marketing, branding, and press coverage.


Responsibilities

  • Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation, and Success in all activities and interactions.
  • Develops and lead multi-year strategy for associate communications, optimizing BVLink and other platforms as methods of reaching all associates. Creates and implements a calendar of communications and manage with internal content creators and audiences
  • Measures effectiveness of communications strategy through tracking engagement on BVLink as well as correlations to annual associate engagement survey
  • Creates and maintain consistent investor communications strategies, including update letters and fund performance
  • Develops change management communication for new systems implementations, new processes, etc. to ensure clear, effective communication to affected audiences
  • Supports communities during crisis communications
  • Supports executive communication development for both internal communications as well as development of external presentations
  • Manages the home page content on myBrightview, calling attention to feel-good and news stories across the company
  • Partners with cross functional groups to develop effective internal promotion of various events: Associate Appreciation Week, Annual Leadership Conference, awards announcements, annual benefits enrollment, etc.
  • Directly manages the relationship with our public relations company, ensuring that the brand receives strong editorial content exposure across all regions
  • Partners with the SVP of Marketing and Technology to write the annual GPTW Culture Audit

Salary Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.

Compensation Disclosure

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, or a related discipline from a four-year college or university and three-five years' work experience as a content marketing manager.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Experience working with a digital marketing team a plus.
  • The editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to create and maintain a consistent brand voice across all company communications. Proper grammar and demonstrated experience in professional writing required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships with associates, residents, and family members.
  • Ability to source and produce high-quality graphics. Demonstrated expertise in graphics production, such as Photoshop.
  • Email marketing and digital advertising experience.
  • Experience working with content management and marketing systems. Sitecore, Hubspot, and iContact experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Experience in creating, maintaining, and driving traffic to a blog.
  • Portfolio of writing samples to showcasing online and offline.
  • Demonstrated understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding and competing deadlines, producing high quality work and projecting a positive attitude.
  • Hospitality, Healthcare, or Real Estate background a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment that is committed to transforming lives.
