Summary: Responsible for the management and utilization of information technology systems and data in clinical settings. This role plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between healthcare providers and technology by implementing and optimizing systems that enhance patient care and outcomes.Does this position require Patient Care?
No Essential Functions -Collaborates with healthcare teams to assess their needs, evaluate existing systems, and implement new clinical informatics solutions. -Continuously monitors and analyzes the performance of clinical information systems to identify areas for improvement. -Develops and delivers training programs to healthcare professionals on the effective use of clinical informatics tools and technologies. -Stays abreast of industry regulations and guidelines related to clinical informatics, privacy, and security. -Leads clinical informatics projects, including system upgrades, data migrations, and the implementation of new technologies. -Provides technical support to end-users, including clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. -Collaborates with healthcare professionals, IT staff, administrators, and vendors to ensure effective communication and coordination. -Collects and analyzes clinical data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for quality improvement. Only Considering RN Licensed Applicants and must have clinical informatics experience.
