PRN - Day Shift

Starting Pay- $65.12 - $81.40 (Based on Experience)

Qualifications:



  • One to two years of retail/outpatient pharmacy experience preferred
  • Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE)
  • Knowledge of patient counseling, drug therapy, and drug-drug interactions
  • Certification or desire to be certified in Immunizations
  • Current pharmacist license in state of MN
  • BLS certification


Job Responsibilities:



  • Fills orders with accuracy.
  • Checks technician-prepared products before release.
  • Maintains security of pharmacy and controlled substances.
  • Enters orders and patient information with accuracy.
  • Aids in the training of new staff.
  • Updates the manager of retail pharmacy services about the daily activities of the pharmacy.
  • Aids the manager of retail pharmacy services in maintaining the pharmacy.
  • Ability to work independently and handle stress appropriately.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other members of the outpatient pharmacy.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.
  • Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns.
  • Fosters a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
  • Working computer knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned.
