Weekend Nurse Supervisor - Saturday & Sunday night shift

6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.

Located in Plymouth, Indiana, in a rejuvenating wooded setting, Michiana Behavioral Health provides each patient with comprehensive behavioral health treatment from compassionate and caring staff. The Nurse Supervisor is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, evaluates, and provides continuous patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Nurse Supervisor must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide continuous care, based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served. The Nurse Supervisor will supervise all Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Skill Leaders, and Mental Health Technicians working at the hospital during your shift. The Nurse Supervisor will maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff and ensure that hospital policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Current license to practice in the State of Indiana
  • One year experience in a psychiatric setting preferred
  • One year managment experience preferred
