Responsibilities

Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital is a 369-bed, full-service acute care facility located in Arlington, Texas, and part of the nationally recognized Texas Health Resources system. The hospital features a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing advanced care for critically ill and premature newborns. With a strong commitment to maternal and infant health, collaborative interdisciplinary teams, and Magnet®-recognized nursing excellence, Texas Health Arlington Memorial offers neonatologists the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, supportive environment focused on compassionate, family-centered care.

 

Our growing neonatology practice is seeking a BC/BE clinical neonatologist to join our team of two physicians. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an established, collaborative group that prioritizes exceptional patient care while supporting a healthy work–life balance. 

This role features 48-hour in-house shifts, allowing you to live anywhere in the DFW metroplex! Physicians benefit from excellent facilities, including a sleep/call room within the main neonatology office, a kitchen area, and designated personal office space. 

 

This dynamic practice offers: 

  • 30-bed, Level-III NICU
  • Average daily census of 9-11 babies 
  • Strong support staff, including tenured nurses with exceptionally low turnover
  • Advanced services include high-frequency ventilation and inhaled nitric oxide
  • Participation in quality improvement initiatives and the Vermont Oxford study
