Purpose of Position	Communicates the university's mission and story through internal and external channels for staff, faculty, and alumni. Serves as content manager and creator for NKU in View, directly supporting the Sr. Director of Internal University Communications and partnering with key campus stakeholders. Provides content strategy and editorial direction for digital and print materials, ensuring a consistent voice, and serves as lead copy editor in alignment with AP style and institutional standards.
Primary Responsibilities	Manages and creates content for NKU in View, including selecting, writing, and editing feature stories in collaboration with Development, Alumni Relations, and campus partners. Supports the Senior Director of Internal Communications with executive-level communications for the Office of the President as needed. Provides editorial oversight and copy editing for digital and print marketing materials, ensuring a consistent voice and adherence to AP style and institutional standards. Builds and maintains campus stakeholder relationships to source and develop internal and external content. Supports marketing, web, and digital teams with writing and proofreading as needed.
Qualifications	Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience are required. Exceptional writing skills required. Proven success in managing multiple priorities simultaneously required. Project management experience, including managing demanding and rapidly changing schedules and collaboration with different personality types.
