Job Description Key Job Functions
- Work with Registered Dietitian to coordinate all logistics for the Diabetes Learning Series and Diabetes Prevention Program
- Support Administrative Coordinator to execute special events
- Assist in planning and executing community outreach, webinars and events as needed
- Set up and host Zoom meetings and webinars
- Coordinate social media channels to drive awareness/interest (engagement) and interest (traffic) including, but not limited to; Facebook, YouTube, WeChat and Slack
- Coordinate volunteers, and work with them before and during events
- Represent CHI at community events, interact with organizations and participants
- Coordinate phone calls, email inquiries and provide resources in support of the
CHI Call Center - Populate database with completed surveys and after-event outreach reports
Qualifications & Essential Skills
- Ideal position for those with medical/nursing/public health/foreign medical
graduate backgrounds - Required - Ability to read Chinese
- Required - Ability to speak at least one major Chinese dialect fluently (Mandarin or Cantonese)
- At least one year of experience in administrative support
- Strong computer skills: Zoom, MS Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Recognized as a team player with excellent interpersonal/collaborative skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with diverse populations
- Enthusiastic attitude, strong work ethic
- Flexible, takes initiative
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Hours and Structure
- Per diem, 1-year contract
- 10 - 15 hours per week
- Able to work weekends and some evenings
Salary Range: $27.79 - $41.69 USD Hour
