DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Equipment Operator B, you will operate a range of equipment, including a 16-ton tractor trailer, 2.5 ton box truck, forklifts, and pallet jacks to name a few. You will be responsible for conducting safety checks and inspections, as well as performing daily preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment. You may also be involved in assembling and packing materials for shipment, participating in physical inventory, and providing support to warehouse operations in emergency situations. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of 40,685.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience or training.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
Additional Requirements:
- You must be willing and able to commute to the primary work site in Mechanicsburg, PA.
- You must possess a minimum of one year of warehouse experience.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
