As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol interior and exterior areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and staff with directions, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, suspicious activity, and/or customer disputes.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the shopping center, common areas, service corridors, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, respond to alarm activations, and assist with after-hours lockup and/or opening procedures as directed by site post orders.
• Observe and report hazards, property damage, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate issues to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, and activity logs with clear, accurate details.
• Provide direction and assistance to visitors, including wayfinding, escort requests, and support during special events and/or peak shopping periods.
• Work with property management, retail staff, and local public sector partners as needed to support site policies and incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
