You will monitor activity at the lobby and entry points, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures and customer service standards at the front desk.
  • Monitor the lobby and reception area to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns and escalate issues to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Control access through the main entrance by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and directing guests to the appropriate destination.
  • Answer phones and/or route calls, maintain front desk logs, and support administrative tasks related to visitor management and security-related documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disruptive behavior, and/or building concerns.
  • Operate and/or monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm panels when assigned, and notify appropriate contacts of irregular conditions.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, shift activity reports, and other written documentation with accurate times, actions taken, and notifications made.
  • Support emergency response activities per site procedures, including notifications, evacuations, and/or shelter-in-place coordination as directed.
  • Coordinate with facility staff, local emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership to relay information, follow post orders, and support resolution of security-related events.
  • Maintain a professional presence and appearance at the front desk to help promote a welcoming environment while supporting loss prevention and security-related policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
