Security Officer - Industrial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Carthage, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, fire alarms and/or equipment-related concerns, and notify appropriate parties per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, directing visitors and/or contractors, and following sign-in procedures as required.
• Monitor gates, doors and other access points for unusual conditions, report discrepancies and help to maintain controlled entry and exit.
• Complete routine patrol and incident reports, shift logs and other documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate with Allied Universal leadership, client contacts and responding emergency services as needed via radio, phone and/or other systems.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards and/or policy violations, and support corrective actions in line with site procedures.
• Assist with alarm response and basic monitoring of cameras and/or access control systems when assigned, and escalate issues per protocol.
• Support order and traffic flow around loading docks and delivery routes by providing directions and reporting concerns in accordance with site rules.
• Maintain a professional presence, provide directions and information to employees and visitors, and de-escalate conflicts when possible.
• Participate in required training, briefings and post updates, and follow all site-specific policies and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
