As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Tech Sector in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech location. You will remain highly visible, interact with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service while monitoring the environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity as required.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential risks and provide support to employees and visitors.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate concerns or observations related to security-related matters.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Remain alert to surroundings and any changes within the environment that may require intervention or escalation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
