As a Security Officer Factory Perimeter Patrol in Ronkonkoma, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to reports, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while providing customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other site systems when assigned, and report irregularities or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision regarding unusual conditions, maintenance concerns impacting security-related operations, and operational updates.
• Assist with managing vehicle and trailer traffic flow at shipping and receiving areas as assigned, including monitoring gates and reporting suspicious behavior.
• Support emergency procedures such as evacuation, severe weather response, and medical response by providing clear directions and notifications per post orders.
• Maintain a professional presence and provide directions and/or assistance to employees and visitors while enforcing site rules consistently.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
