PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $106,600.00-$130,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $82,900.00 - $154,000.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

As a Program Manager for Community Engagement, you'll take ownership of two signature programs-BECU Cares and the People Helping People Awards-that engage employees and members with the communities we serve. Your work will help scale, streamline, and bring innovative ideas to these initiatives, ensuring they grow and evolve alongside our organization and deliver meaningful impact. By improving processes, driving engagement, and supporting events, you'll strengthen BECU's commitment to purpose, inclusion, and community advocacy. To join our dynamic team in this role, candidates must reside in Washington State. This is a hybrid position with regular onsite presence at our Tukwila headquarters and across the greater Seattle area for event and program activities. Whether working remotely or onsite, we are committed to keeping you fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead Program Execution: Manage BECU Cares and People Helping People Awards, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
  • Plan and Deliver Events: Contribute to event planning and execution for Day of Purpose and other enterprise events, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • Measure Success: Develop KPIs and reporting cadence to track program performance and impact.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and scale programs for future growth.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and community organizations to strengthen engagement and deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Oversee vendor contracts and ensure cost-efficient, high-quality service delivery.
  • Stay Connected: Commute frequently to Tukwila and Seattle-area event sites to provide hands-on leadership and support.
  • Ensure Compliance:Maintainadherence to applicable regulations and internal standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work/education experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of functional experience.
  • Typically requires experience managing project teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Community engagement or employee engagement experience.
  • Program management experience with a proven ability to scale initiatives.
  • Event planning experience (critical for program-related events and Day of Purpose).
  • 3+ years in project management.
  • Familiarity with DEI principles and ability to apply a DEI lens.
  • Communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in Financial Services Industry.
