INVISTA is seeking a CORDURA Commercial Director to join our team in Kennesaw, GA. The CORDURA Commercial Director, Americas & EMEA is responsible for all commercial activities of CORDURA within the Western hemisphere. Directly leading a team of 4 professionals spread over the United States, Europe and Brazil, this position also requires close collaboration with the integrated business team of Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, R&D and other capabilities to align and set business strategies and priorities. The ability to create and nurture long-term mutually beneficial relationships with customers, as well as leading and developing a high-performing team, is vital to success. What You Will Do

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing commercial team for Americas & EMEA, building a culture centered on talent development and collaboration where each member's strengths are recognized and leveraged for maximum contribution.
  • Manage and deepen relationships with key customers across our value chain (and inclusive of some government interactions), ensuring exceptional client engagement, striving for mutually beneficial long-term partnerships, and sustained business growth.
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on emerging market trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities.
  • Drive and manage regional P&L accountability, ensuring achievement of commercial targets, revenue growth, profitability objectives, and behaviors consistent with our values.
  • Develop, align and execute innovative commercial strategies focused on maximizing value creation (price, volume), forming strategic partnerships, and generating new revenue streams.
  • Uphold high ethical standards to meet company policies and compliance requirements.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, textiles or business/financial discipline
  • 5+ years of Commercial or New Business Development experience
  • Experience in value selling
  • Experience developing and executing growth strategies to achieve quantifiable commercial successes engaging a cross-functional team
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Supervisory experience managing direct reports
  • Understanding of Principle Based Management (PBM)
  • Experience in textile industry, military and/or consumer apparel markets
