You will support guests and staff with professional customer service, clear communication, and detailed reporting using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, and/or requests for assistance.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and interior spaces, assisting with visitor direction, employee access procedures, and/or controlled entry when applicable.
  • Complete routine checks of doors, gates, stairwells, elevators, and common areas, reporting irregularities and/or maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
  • Document security-related incidents, patrol activity, and service requests using written reports and/or electronic reporting systems.
  • Assist with emergency situations such as medical calls, fire alarms, and severe weather procedures in accordance with location guidelines, including coordinating with onsite staff and/or local responders as directed.
  • Support guest service operations by providing directions, responding to questions, and communicating professionally with hotel staff and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Operate communication equipment such as radios and phones, maintaining clear communication with team members and site contacts.
  • Follow post orders and location requirements, supporting a professional presence that helps to deter policy violations and maintains order in public areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
