Description

The Demand Management Analyst is responsible for forecasting material and product requirements to support capital optimization, corporate strategy, and production/sales objectives. This role serves as a critical link between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate demand planning and inventory management to meet service level requirements while driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Planning


    • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and market intelligence.
    • Provide guidance on revenue plans targets, reviewing optimal inventory levels against different demand scenarios while considering production schedules, and sales objectives.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration


    • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Business Units, Supply Chain, Quality, and Logistics to gather insights, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment on demand plans and customer supply commitments.
    • Support communication with Skyworks strategic customer regarding supply, demand and capacity.


  • Inventory Management


    • Provide guidance on target factory build plans and material purchases based on demand forecast.
    • Manage delivery note creation and shipment allocations to different CM's for parts with shortages based on demand forecast to balance inventory.



  • Data Analysis & Risk Management


    • Analyze demand, supply, and shipment trends to identify opportunities, trade-offs, and risks impacting customer demand, revenue and business objectives.
    • Provide actionable insights to mitigate risks and support decision-making.


  • Continuous Improvement


    • Recommend process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and inventory optimization.
    • Support initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.


Required Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in statistics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple functions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Experience with forecasting software and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and operations.
  • Familiarity with Excel


The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $77,900 - $142,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
