About this Role - Safety Training Manager We are looking for a talented Safety Training Manager that has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing the company's safety policies & development programs to enhance employee performance and organizational effectiveness in support of strategic business objectives. What You'll Do - Design and implement a results driven safety training and development strategy that will support business objectives in the areas of operations and safety with an emphasis on crane and elevated work - Identifies safety training needs by analyzing organizational results, job requirements, operational problems, compliance requirements, forecasts, and current training programs. - Conducts the delivery of safety training packages, courses, and instruction - Design and develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of safety training and development programs - Track, trend and schedule employee safety training - Coordinates and facilitates all MJE Group safety training and development initiatives throughout the company - Manages safety training and development initiatives by coordinating and collaborating with business unit management and staffs to develop and implement programs and processes to meet business needs - Achieves financial objectives by preparing and managing the safety training budget - Ensure that MJE Senior Management is kept current on all safety training and development initiatives - Stays current on safety training and development trends and technologies and ensures the consistent delivery of a high-quality product What You'll Bring - Ability to engage and consult with all levels of management; to establish working relationships and partnerships at all levels of the organization - Experience in developing and delivering safety training and development programs - Ability to analyze complex information and formulate decisions - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills - Ability to provide oversight to numerous training and development initiatives - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Human Resources Management.
