Location: Manitowoc, WI
Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2^nd Shift (2pm - 10pm Monday through Friday)

Starting Pay: $21.50 + $2.00 Shift Premium

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and safetyfocused Fabrication Technician III to join our team. This role is responsible for operating and adjusting a wide range of fabrication equipment, performing precision inspections, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust fabrication equipment including Rollformer, CNC Turret, Brake Press, Welder, Laser Machine, Aluminum Machining equipment, and CNC machining centers.
• Set up cutting operations and select appropriate cutting programs.
• Make necessary adjustments to downloaded programs.
• Use precision measuring tools to perform accurate dimensional inspections.
• Identify, document, and report defects or questionable material conditions.
• Train new team members on fabrication processes and equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen events, value stream mapping, layout planning).
• Share ideas to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and enhance efficiency.
• Embrace and adapt to process improvements and operational changes.
• Maintain safety as the highest priority at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNC machining experience required
• Experience with Haas vertical milling centers preferred
• Fabrication or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required
