Join our team as an Affordable Housing Property Manager at Stella Apartments!

Stella Apartments is a 132-unit affordable housing community operating under LIHTC and PBV programs. We're seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Property Manager who understands the unique balance of regulatory compliance, operational leadership, and resident service that successful affordable communities require.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all day-to-day operations of a 132-unit LIHTC and PBV community

  • Supervise, coach, and support the on-site team while maintaining strong accountability and performance

  • Manage property financials including budgeting, expense control, rent collections, and variance review

  • Ensure strict compliance with LIHTC and PBV program requirements in partnership with the Compliance team

  • Oversee recertifications, documentation, and file integrity to maintain audit readiness

  • Partner with maintenance to coordinate work orders, inspections, preventative maintenance, and unit turns

  • Drive occupancy and retention through effective leasing, outreach, and resident engagement

What You'll Bring

  • Property management experience within affordable housing

  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC regulations and compliance requirements

  • Experience working with PBV, Section 8, or other HUD-related programs

  • Proven leadership experience supervising on-site property teams

  • Strong financial management, organization, and reporting skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse residents and stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary between $75,000-$85,000 annually
