RN Nurse Supervisor-3rd Shift (Limited PT)

Luther Manor is searching a talented and compassionate Nurse Supervisor to join our Skilled Nursing Team on Third Shift.

This position is 2 days/wk with rotating weekends and holidays.

As the Nurse Supervisor for our Skilled Nursing Unit you will coordinate nursing services and monitor the health status of the residents on the unit to ensure the residents are healthy, safe and well-cared for. The Nurse Supervisor will direct, supervise, and coordinate the provision of nursing services to residents on assigned shifts while supervising nursing personnel. This person will function as the administrative contact person in the absence of other managers.

• Current Wisconsin licensed Registered Nurse
• CPR/BLS Certified, a plus will certify
• Knowledge and experience in supervision, minimum of 2 years experience preferred
• Knowledge of current professional theory and practice, minimum of 2 years of experience in long term care.
• Good communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Must demonstrate sound judgment, maturity and emotional stability in dealing with residents and staff.
• The mobility to spend the majority of work shift standing or moving about the Health Care Center.
• The mobility to respond quickly in emergency situations in all areas of the Luther Manor campus.
• The physical strength to move or assist residents as required in emergency situations in all areas of the Luther Manor campus
• Knowledge of HFS132 Regulation
