Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician II performs assembly, repair, and troubleshooting of medical device components in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires adherence to FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP), attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting production targets. The Manufacturing Technician II will use hand tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair components, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure quality and compliance standards are consistently met.

Job Responsibilities




  • Follow established procedures to repair and restore pumps and medical device components to original specifications.



  • Troubleshoot pump components and perform technical aspects of repair and production processes.



  • Assemble and disassemble devices using hand tools, manipulating small parts with precision.



  • Complete all required documentation to maintain quality compliance.



  • Read and follow written work instructions, including deviations when necessary.



  • Inspect components visually for particulate matter, color distinctions, and quality standards.



  • Maintain a clean and compliant work area in accordance with FDA regulations.



  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.



  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment, including static protective smocks and grounded wrist straps.




Job Requirements




  • High school diploma or GED.



  • Ability to identify small electronic components and differentiate markings.



  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small parts.



  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.



  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.



  • Strong judgment, positive attitude, and initiative.



  • Ability to read and write English proficiently.



  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.



  • Willingness to learn production and repair assembly procedures and interpret technical drawings.




Work Experience




  • Preferred experience in mechanical or electrical repair in a manufacturing setting.




Physical Requirements




  • Ability to sit or stand for most of the workday.



  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.



  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs from floor to shoulder and lift 2 lbs overhead.



  • Ability to push and pull up to 6 lbs of force.
