LMI is seeking a Program Analyst to support our DHS customer in the Washington D.C area. This position will support a variety of projects by improving processes, coordinating events, interfacing with stakeholders, compiling data, and developing reports and briefings.

Responsibilities

    Develop action plans, frameworks, and processes that align laboratory capabilities to identified Component gaps/requirements in support of the strategic objectives described in DHS strategic documentation
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and project tracking to support program goals and strategic initiatives
  • Establish performance metrics, compile data, and develop leadership-level reports and briefings that highlight value-added contributions from the Department's networked laboratory capabilities in support of DHS mission requirements
  • Develop process improvements and operational frameworks to advance organizational priorities
  • Facilitate and coordinate planning, logistics, and execution for both virtual and in-person events, meetings, and outreach initiatives
  • Develop and maintain a broad, diverse network of relationships and contacts across research laboratory communities in government, academia, laboratory, international, and the private sector
  • Assist in the development of customer requirements and related analyses
  • Participate and advise in the development of strategic planning, stakeholder management, process development, and critical analysis of technical concepts
  • Support onboarding, mentoring, and engagement activities for intern programs, including conducting college outreach sessions
  • Create, edit, and manage presentations and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support purchase request (PR) documentation for interagency agreements (IAA)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • At least three years of relevant experience (or one year with a Masters degree)
  • Experience supporting federal government clients is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Visio, Teams, etc.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to pass a DHS background investigation
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and requires occasional travel to laboratory facilities. Candidates eligible for a Secret level clearance will be considered (U.S. Citizenship required)

Target Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000
