IT & Mobile Solutions Administrator

YMCA of the North Shore

The YMCA of the North Shore is seeking an IT & Mobile Solutions Administrator to support our mobile and connected technology environment across the association. This hands-on role focuses on mobile device management (MDM), connected fitness and facility systems, and user-facing digital tools that enhance staff productivity and member engagement.

Working closely with IT leadership and branch teams, this position ensures mobile technologies, IoT devices, and smart systems are secure, reliable, and effectively integrated across YMCA operations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Configure, deploy, and support mobile devices (phones, tablets, Chromebooks, laptops, hotspots)



  • Administer and optimize MDM platforms (e.g., Meraki, NinjaOne, Apple Business Manager)



  • Support connected fitness equipment and IoT-enabled facility systems



  • Provide troubleshooting, training, and documentation for staff using mobile tools



  • Partner with departments to improve workflows through mobile technology and automation



  • Assist with mobile security, compliance, and device policy implementation

Qualifications
Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).



  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support, device management, or systems administration.



  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management platforms such as Meraki, NinjaOne, Apple Business Manager, or similar systems.



  • Familiarity with iOS, Android, Chrome OS, and Google Workspace.



  • Experience supporting IoT devices, smart fitness systems, or other network-connected equipment preferred.



  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.



  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, balancing project work with day-to-day technical support.



  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between YMCA locations as needed.




Work Environment & Physical Demands


  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or configuring devices.



  • Occasional bending, reaching, and lifting of equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.



  • Frequent use of computers, phones, and mobile devices for configuration and communication.



  • Work is performed in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
