Account Executive - Surgical Specialties (Montreal)
Target Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 CAD
Location: Greater Montreal Area (Hybrid/Territory-Based)

We are currently seeking an experienced Account Executive to support and grow our Surgical Specialties business in the Montreal territory. This role is responsible for driving sales performance across Laparoscopy, Arthroscopy, CV/Thoracoscopy, with additional oversight of Urology and Gynecology.
The successful candidate must reside in the greater Montreal area.
Position Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for achieving sales and revenue targets within an assigned territory while developing strong, long-term customer relationships. This role embodies the KARL STORZ Company Values and partners closely with internal teams to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive territory growth and consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in alignment with the company's commission program
- Expand market share and deepen adoption of the KARL STORZ portfolio across assigned surgical specialties
- Develop solution-based selling strategies that establish sustainable market leadership, including service offerings
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly performance reports, outlining progress toward objectives, key activities, successes, and potential challenges
- Collaborate with Sales Management, Marketing, and customers to develop innovative strategies and tailored solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts, proactively identifying market trends and customer needs
- Develop value-based proposal strategies that support margin objectives and partner with leadership on final approvals
- Coordinate with Customer Support and Training teams to ensure customers receive comprehensive onboarding and ongoing support
- Foster employee engagement through coaching and mentorship to support individual development and achievement of business objectives
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience in sales or marketing
- Minimum 5 years of direct medical device sales experience
- Experience in endoscopy, imaging, or surgical technology is an asset
- Strong understanding of the medical device and healthcare environment
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory and internationally as required
