| Essential Job Duties |
Research support (lab maintenance, tissue culture, genotyping, construct generation, reporter analysis, microscopy).
The successful candidate will:
- Perform tissue culture experiments to produce callus from specific plant genotypes and regenerate whole plants from those calli.
- Keep detailed records of the expression patterns of several fluorescent hormone reporters during the callus formation and regeneration process.
- Create DNA cassettes to manipulate auxin production using Golden Braid and recombineering techniques.
