Position Summary The Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois in Chicago is seeking a full-time academic General Surgical Pathologist to join our faculty as an expert consultant on either the tenure track or non-tenure track. Rank and tenure will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and funding. UI Health is an enterprise that includes a 470-bed tertiary care hospital, 30+ outpatient clinics, and patient-centered research entities including the University of Illinois Cancer Center. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must hold a MD, DO, MD/PhD, or DO/PhD degree from an accredited institution, be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois and have board certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) by the American Board of Pathology. Preferred Qualifications Fellowship training or significant experience in general Surgical Pathology is preferred.
