Position Location: This position will be located remotely.

Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 50%+ and ideally located within assigned geography.

The Regional Business Director will lead, coach, and participate in field-based activities related to 8 account managers. The RBD will work closely with the Head of Sales and other leaders within the organization to develop and execute strategies that contribute to the overall performance, culture, and success of the organization.

Major Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities will Include, but not limited to:

  • Be responsible for hitting or exceeding sales targets on biosimilar launches and a portfolio of products.

  • Design and implement business plans to achieve sales targets based on product specific strategies.

  • Monitor product usage at a regional level to help team determine growth/loss within specific territories.

  • Understand and gain insights into market trends that may lead to supply disruptions.

  • Conduct regular ride-along to ensure development of the account team, coach and guide the team as needed (utilizing internal CRM platform) and conduct target and incentive analysis for the associates.

  • Provide regular, candid, and timely feedback to account managers and document appropriately.

  • Analyze and evaluate the performance of the team as well as territory sales goals. Track and reinforce measure of salesforce effectiveness (in person vs virtual meetings, adherence to strategy, tactical implementation and proper use of internal systems and tools)

  • Work with cross function colleagues on contract needs to move an account through formulary process

What you'll bring to the role:

Education:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • Extensive front line experience in pharmaceutical sales with a background in IDNs, buy & bill, and contracting

  • Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills required.

  • Experience negotiating IDN/hospital purchasing contracts.

Desirable Requirements (preferred experience and skills):

  • Prior people leadership experience

We also follow a hybrid work policy that combines a mix of in-person and remote work to allow our employees flexibility.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $194,600 - 361,400; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
