Are you an experienced channel sales professional ready to drive growth across the Southeastern US?

What You Will Do

As an experienced Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales of Trimble Protection Plans (TPP) through our channel partners. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Worldwide Sales, you will be crucial in establishing and maintaining value-based relationships with distributor principals and key staff to maximize sales opportunities. You will also leverage your proven track record in channel sales and deep understanding of the technology industry to strategically grow our recurring revenue business.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets for Trimble Protection Plans (TPP).

  • Deliver training and coaching to Distributor Principals and key staff on topics related to improving their recurring revenue services business by having a focused sales process in place for selling and renewing TPP.

  • Manage the overall sales performance improvement of assigned Distributors by providing business expertise and engaging Trimble Global Services resources.

  • Provide regular feedback and insights to management on market trends and the competitive landscape.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Demonstrated sales and account management experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of channel distribution sales and multi-tier re-seller business models.

  • Strong understanding of value-based consultative and solutions-based sales methodologies.

  • Experience in developing a regional-wide sales channel network.

  • Comfort working in a recurring revenue, subscription-driven business.

What Skills & Experience You Could Bring

  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications (e.g., Google Apps, MS Excel, etc) for analysis, reporting, and tracking.

About Your Location

This position supports the Southeastern US region, which primarily involves working remotely with travel to our dealer sites 50% of the time.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
