Description
Starting salary for Universal Banker position is $19.50 an hour and up, depending on experience. Job purpose of the Universal Banker position: Under direct supervision of an Assistant Branch Manager or Community President, this position is responsible for assisting customers in a dual role (40% Platform/60% Teller) focused on delivering outstanding service with every customer interaction. The Universal Banker I will perform teller transactions, service existing customers, and offer product and service solutions to existing customers or prospects when appropriate and beneficial. The Universal Banker I is responsible for completing all training, passing Banker Certification within 18 months of hire/promotion date and demonstrate their ability to meet/exceed customer and job expectations prior to progressing to Universal Banker II. What you bring to WaterStone Bank: Experience Required: 6 months of sales and/or customer service experience Preferred: 1 year of sales and customer service experience in a sale and goals-based environment, with a strong emphasis on customer service Education Required: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred: Associate's Degree business or related field Certifications, Licenses, Registration Required: Banker Certification within18 months of hire/promotion date Perks of working at WaterStone Bank:
