GENERAL FUNCTION

The Director of Marketing, Demand and Development is a data driven marketing leader that turns insights into action and measurable growth. In this role you will own paid media strategy and performance analytics across North America and driving online eye exam booking growth and retail sales results. Leads the process of marketing research by defining customer understanding gaps and setting objectives and leads key marketing research initiatives. Turns insights into business driving actions.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Leads paid media strategy (CTV, search, social, programmatic, affiliates) in partnership with agency teams
  • Own media budget allocation and optimization to maximize ROI.
  • Develops and manages marketing budget. Makes sure marketing spends are on budget and accurately reported.
  • Collaborate with CRM to align acquisition and retention efforts across channels.
  • Build, manage and evolve performance dashboards for marketing and executive visibility.
  • Oversee campaign testing, measurement and attribution modeling.
  • Partner with Field Marketing to deliver localized demand generation insights.
  • Translate data into clear storytelling for senior leadership and franchise partners.
  • Develops and owns dashboard.
  • Works closely with media and CRM COEs and Marketing partners to ensure demand generation efforts are fully integrated, targeted and optimized for conversion.
  • Manages a team by servings as a mentor/coach to all members of the team by supervising, training and developing direct reports into high performing teams.
  • Acts as champion of multi-channel convergence for the brand and drives one message and tone of voice across all channels. Proactively defines multi-channel consumer view, strategic impact and points of convergence ensuring the brand is seamlessly communicated across channels.
  • Defines brand digital and social strategy and programs. Leads activation of all digital, social, mobile brand programs across different media platforms, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Performs long-term trend analysis and year plan proposals.


Basic Qualifications:



  • 8+ years increasing responsibility in Marketing role (media strategy, demand generation and performance marketing)
  • 4+ years of brand management experience
  • 3+ years of analytics, dashboards, attribution and/or digital/interactive experience
  • Deep experience in brand management and developing business driving marketing plans and brand building programs
  • Experience across all type of communication channels and working with different types of agencies, i.e. creative, digital, PR, shopper, etc.
  • Developed programs for social and mobile media including Facebook, Twitter.
  • Experience in activating the brand in an in-store environment, ideally direct stores and or department stores or other multi-product retailer
  • Demonstrates initiative, self-reliance and a strong sense of urgency
  • Drives innovation by discovering alternative approaches to resolve obstacles
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills with a clear focus on results .
  • Strong team player, entrepreneurial drive and organization skills


Preferred Qualifications:



  • MBA
  • Retail, franchise or multi location is preferred

Pay Range:165,052.80-243,145.60
