Job Description:

Microchip's Reliability Physics Engineering team is seeking to hire an Intern to support new products to market. Based in our Chandler headquarters, you would be part of the Reliability Physics Engineering team tasked with supporting products from multiple business units worldwide.

• Implementing Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning based algorithms to support Microchip's most advanced products.
• Developing AI tools for smart search from documents and reports.
• Data analysis & trend prediction from historical data from these reports.
• Generating summary reports based on selected documents with appropriate filtering.
• Developing lab automation software to enhance reliability testing capability for power device qualification.

This internship could transition into a long-term internship and requires that you are a registered college/university student with the ability to work part-time.

Must be able to work independently, set your daily priorities, and work in a team environment.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Strong background with programing languages especially Python is required.
• Good problem-solving skills are desired.
• Documentation of work performed is required.
• Good communication skills are required.
• Must be self-motivated, team playerand adhere to Microchips company values.
• This is a long-term internship, thus ability to workpart-time (up to 25 hours per week) while attending college/university is required.
