POSITION SUMMARY:

The Front Desk Clerk will assit our HR team in assisting with daily operational tasks. They will follow all Winter Park policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes.

WAGE:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resort's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Hourly pay range: $19 - $22

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

  • General guest/employees by providing the best possible experience through exceptional attention to guest and employee service
  • Perform general HR duties as assigned (filing, keeping front office organized and clean)
  • Daily processing of employee paperwork via our current HRIS System in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
  • Print and re-print employee season passes
  • Timely filing of all employee documents and required I9 documents in designated files, both physically and electronically.
  • Daily data entry for new hires, rehires, status changes, additional job classifications.
  • Trouble-shoot and research questions to resolve problems on employee paperwork with employee and/or hiring manager.
  • Assist employees with perks and benefits.
  • Actively participate in all employee events organized by Human Resources including but not limited to employee dinners, employee engagement survey, and early ride days.
  • Exercise strict confidentiality with all information including but not limited to personnel information including wage data, medical information, and EEO information.
  • Other duties as assigned by the HR Manager


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and office etiquette.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment
  • Quick learner with computer software programs
  • Must demonstrate ability to quickly learn those applications not known
  • Team Oriented
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required


Experience:

  • 1-2 years of previous office/clerical experience preferred
  • 1 season of experience with Winter Park Resort a plus
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer functionality required.

  • Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.
