Technical Infrastructure Architect - Senior Security Clearance: Top Secret, Tier 5 (T5) Investigation Location: 100% Remote (must be within commutable distance to Northern Virginia)
Overview
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Senior Technical Infrastructure Architect for a potential opportunity. The selected candidate will ensure the stable operation of in-house computer systems and network connections. Responsibilities include planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing all network software and communication links to support operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems. Analyze and resolve end-user software and connectivity issues. Conduct capacity and performance analysis; recommend system configuration changes and upgrades. Improve system administrator efficiency through automated tools, scripts, procedures, and training. Deliver end-user training as required. Provide technology recommendations aligned with business strategy. Provide local and remote maintenance support for operational systems deployed across multiple locations. Support general maintenance, upgrades, and installation of servers and applications. Apply advanced technical knowledge in application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance. Perform vulnerability management and security-related system tasks.
Required Qualifications
Education: BA/BS in a technical discipline. Experience:
10+ years of specialized experience in Information Processing, covering a wide range of hardware/software solutions. At least 4+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting diverse software systems. Experience directing system administrators in day-to-day operations, system/resource optimization, and user support.
Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance required. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
