JOB TITLE: Sr Financial Analyst

REPORTS TO: Director Business Finance

JOB SUMMARY

Provides support to Corporate Finance and Function VPs with financial analysis including analysis of operating results as well as special projects

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists in the annual budgeting process to assist with creation and/or review of budget versus Actual numbers
  • Assists in preparing monthly reports for distribution in analyzing monthly results
  • Analyzes monthly results and coordinates with Function VP's/directors to review performance monthly.
  • Summarizes financial performance by function for senior management
  • Identifies areas for improvement and makes recommendations to improve profitability
  • Coordinates progress on action plans to improve performance
  • Coordinates monthly forecasting of financial results
  • Assists in research of inquiries regarding actual versus budget variances by managers
  • Performs analysis on capital projects - including ROI, NPV analysis
  • Performs varied corporate financial projects for senior management
  • Participates on cross-functional teams as needed to drive financial measurements/results
  • Provides support to the M&A function as requested, including financial modeling, due diligence follow-up, documentation, etc.
  • Performs special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (please indicate if 'preferred')

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. Master's degree in related field preferred.
  • Equivalent years of related experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and a good understanding of accounting concepts
  • Demonstrated experience in ROI and financial modeling
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy of information, flexible, able to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open to suggestions and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to interact with staff from multiple departments within the Kendle organization

Years of experience required: Five (5) years of related experience.

Physical Requirements: Position requires: ability to occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office equipment, etc. and to move between office locations; ability to maintain a stationary position for prolonged periods of time; ability to occasionally manipulate (e.g., lift, carry, move) office items and packages of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds; ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment (e.g., scanner, phone, printer, copier); ability to perceive and assess written materials for prolonged periods of time; and ability to frequently communicate with colleagues on the phone, by email, and in-person.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is low. This is a largely sedentary role.

Salary Range:

$67,700.00 - $115,100.00

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
