How can you make an impact?

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in the Finance Team, providing financial and operational support. Responsibilities include reporting and analysis for revenue, cost of goods sold, capital expenditures, and operating expenses; review product investment red folders; platform investments, update and maintain key financial metrics; and provide Ad Hoc analysis and reports.

The incumbent should have proven interpersonal skills with a track record of establishing collaborative business relationships with cross functional teams within an organization; the ability to manage and use large volume of data within analyses along with using existing resources to problem solve; and have effective communication skills to work with all levels of management and staff.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What You'll Do:

  • Performs monthly financial reporting tasks, monthly forecasting, and annual budgeting activities
  • Supports the product teams by compiling financial information; provides guidance and oversight on profitability of products, historical trends, and adoption analysis
  • Reports and monitors actual and budget data in a timely and accurate manner
  • Performs variance analysis and identifies drivers of business performance; presents analysis to senior partners and provides in-depth reviews
  • Participates in ad-hoc reporting, initiatives, and analysis
  • Investigates discrepancies and provides recommendations requiring specialized analysis
  • Develop strong working partnerships among other Analysts and throughout the finance, and product actively assume a leadership and ownership role in process improvements in order to improve the quality and accuracy of financial information provided within the business unit
  • Develop detailed financial and analytical models to improve transparency into business performance
  • Evaluate the financial and strategic impact of new business opportunities including business development strategies, new product and service offerings, large customer proposals, and sales and marketing plans
  • Develops detailed reports and summaries to analyze and describe financial activity and assists line management in interpreting results as well as predicting future activity. Establish objectives, plans and metrics for the business finance department to ensure planned revenue profits are achieved

What you bring:

  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 5+ years related experience in financial reporting, planning, forecasting, analysis, and month-end close
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of financial and business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Adapts well to fast-paced environment and rapidly changing priorities and activities
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, and analytics skills utilizing tableau and power BI
  • Exhibits initiative and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Excellent detail-orientation with ability to multitask and respond to competing priorities
  • Ability to contribute constructively in team-oriented environment with rapidly changing priorities and time pressures
  • Proficient in project timeline control, yet flexible and willing to adapt to changing deadlines if necessary
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks with exceptional time-management skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral with ability to communicate complex business information to a range of audiences
  • Ability to train/mentor others

Why work for us?

The pay range for this position is between $71,300-$110,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
