As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Federal Facility in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and professional conduct.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report security-related incidents or hazards according to site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to the public and staff within the location.
• Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and site personnel when appropriate to coordinate response efforts.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
