The booking team serves as the "front doors" into Waymo's ride-hailing marketplace. In this high-impact role, you'll be joining the Booking team to introduce high-value options that give riders agency to manage value tradeoffs, optimize the core booking flow with new modalities and options, and develop a powerful booking platform with intelligent features. You will: Work on a small team that builds the core hailing flow for an iOS application that hails and controls Waymo autonomous cars. You'll be focusing on premium and innovative flows that help users plan, create, and manage their trip - giving riders powerful features with industry-leading UX. Create delightful iOS components and flows using the latest iOS technologies, such as SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency. Build features which inspire trust in autonomous vehicle systems. The team works with UX designers and researchers, product managers, and vehicle software engineers to bring this technology to customers. You have: B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience with iOS development. Experience with SwiftUI in a production environment. Passion for building user-facing products with a focus on pixel-perfect UI. Experience partnering with product managers and designers. Background in test-driven development. We prefer: Full-stack experience. Experience with UIKit, CoreAnimation, and other system iOS frameworks. Experience with performance analysis, profiling, and optimization tools. Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks. Experience with accessibility best practices. The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
