Start Date ASAP Contract T-38 AMP Salary Range DOE Posting Date 12/09/2025 Union No FLSA Status Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible Job Summary: Manages the T-38 AMP contract at the Centralized Repair Facility (CRF) in a safe and appropriate manner acceptable to the Government. Coordinates all efforts to ensure 100% safe, on time, properly configured, reliable aircraft to perform missions in accordance with PWS. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: AMU Manager manages both intermediate and organizational maintenance. Will ensure the accomplishment of sortie production, Phase Inspections, Transient Alert processes, Time Changes, Time Compliance Technical Order's (TCTO's), and all organizational and intermediate maintenance actions necessary to maintain aircraft and support the flying schedule at Holloman AFB. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline work flow processes. Ensures Section responsibilities are fulfilled in compliance with the Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and that contract requirements are met or exceeded. Ensures Deputy Contract Program Manager is kept informed of all maintenance activities, attends applicable company and military meetings as required. Maintains surveillance over operations and activities of the section to detect areas of accident or injury potential, unsafe acts or conditions and takes immediate actions to correct unsatisfactory situations. Applies Company policy and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, and termination of employees. Monitors employee attendance approves timecards. Ensures employees possess the qualifications and certifications necessary to perform their job. Knowledge, skills and abilities: Knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance launch, recover, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance procedure for T-38 or similar aircraft. Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures at the organizational and intermediate level to include aircraft Phase production and documentation. Competent computer skills. Comprehensive understanding of aircraft maintenance quality control procedures. Successful management experience in a large maintenance organization. Supervisory responsibilities: Directs, plans, coordinates, controls and evaluates the operations and personnel of the T-38 Section. Supervises, controls and provides resources to expedite flow of communication in a secure and expeditious manner. Exercises control over preparation and processing of required forms and records and ensures timely completion of time accounting and maintenance data. Evaluates performance of section and assists subordinate management in improving planning and performance. Page 2 of 2 Qualifications and Experience: * Ten years' experience in USAF maintenance management under AFI 21-101 to include CRF and sortie production. * Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. * Must be able to stand, bend, climb, squat and sit for extended periods while performing tasks. * Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude. * Three years' experience in dealing with an organized Labor Union desired. * High School Diploma mandatory. Bachelors Degree in an Aviation Discipline desired. * Maintain a clean and organized workplace. * Perform other duties as assigned by Management. * Current state Driver's License. Working Conditions: * Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties. * Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
