Why This Role Is Critical
We are seeking a highly motivated OEM Program Manager to manage a large OEM customer relationship focused on run rate custom hardware business. This role combines account management, program execution, and strategic growth responsibilities, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining operational excellence and profitability.
What You'll Do Day-To-Day
Serve as the primary point of contact for a major OEM customer, building and maintaining strong executive and operational relationships.
- Manage day-to-day execution of run rate custom hardware orders, including forecasting, order processing, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure custom hardware specifications are met.
- Oversee contract negotiation, review, and compliance, partnering with legal and finance teams to mitigate risk.
- Work closely with sourcing and supply chain departments to maintain strategic inventory levels, balancing customer demand with production capacity, while limiting risk for the business.
- Own and manage profitability across all bills of material (BOMs), ensuring appropriate margin levels are maintained.
- Identify opportunities to expand business within the OEM account, driving upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
- Drive cross-functional decision-making and accountability by influencing and coordinating actions across departments, ensuring progress without reliance on escalation.
- Proactively address operational challenges, supply chain risks, and quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
- Travel periodically to customer sites to strengthen relationships, conduct business reviews, and align on future needs.
- Provide regular business reviews and performance updates to internal leadership and the OEM customer.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- Minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with PC based applications such as MS Office.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.
Total Rewards Package
- Salary: $65,000-$84,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
