Basic Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.

Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

In our fast-evolving environment, you'll maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies. Working with staff and customers, you'll determine system requirements and ensure timely service delivery as well as analyze information and/or technology needs of the customer and initiate design, planning, implementation or operations processes necessary to fulfill those needs. We'll rely on you to seek out learning opportunities to expand knowledge of IT concepts, processes and procedures, and to improve customer service. You'll work with team members to establish measurements, monitor performance, establish processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring the stability and efficiency of IT systems.
  • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, network reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of IT systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.
What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent experience plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations
  • Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role in a high-tech environment.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in network administration, system administration, and IT support.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of IT security protocols and best practices.

Target salary range: USD $153,107.00/Yr. - USD $159,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
