Job Summary: Summit is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, email marketing, and integrated marketing campaign strategy. The intern will primarily focus on online reputation management, social media assistance, and project coordination.

Project Goals:



  • Assist with social media management, including content creation and scheduling.
  • Support website content updates and email marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to integrated marketing campaign strategies.
  • Enhance online reputation management through social listening and community engagement.


Skills/Qualifications Needed:



  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Interest in digital marketing, including social media, content strategy, and email automation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Curious, collaborative thinker with a willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Desire to learn and contribute to the team.


Responsibilities:



  • Pitch and help produce original content-photos, videos, reels, and more.
  • Support social listening, community engagement, and comment moderation.
  • Schedule approved posts according to the content calendar and contribute ideas for future content.
  • Monitor and manage online reputation by responding to and routing reviews, comments, and concerns appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and agency on creative strategy, planning, and coordination.
  • Assist in researching trends, best practices, and inspiration.
