Building on our past. Ready for the future

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts.

We partner with our customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Expeditor I

Play an integral role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials that keep our projects moving forward. In this role, you help maintain the rhythm of delivery-connecting with suppliers, tracking commitments, and supporting project teams with clear, reliable information. You will make a meaningful impact every day as you help drive schedule performance across our global operations.

Purpose of the role

You will be responsible for monitoring supplier progress against purchase order requirements, with a particular focus on delivery schedules. You will gather and interpret data that highlights supplier performance, report progress to project management, and help identify practical pathways to keep activities on track. This role builds on established processes while giving you room to grow your independence and technical confidence.

Core Responsibilities

  • Track, monitor, and report supplier progress to ensure all purchase order commitments are met on time, at the agreed quality level, and at the correct delivery location.
  • Maintain visibility into upcoming milestones and proactively communicate risks, issues, or slippages to project stakeholders.
  • Gather and review data that clearly outlines supplier expectations and performance measures.
  • Support the development of alternative delivery plans, recovery actions, or schedule adjustments to maintain project momentum.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and suppliers to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and drive alignment.
  • Work under general supervision while applying established procedures, with increasing independence as your experience grows.
  • When needed, provide task-level direction or review work completed by junior team members.
  • Use project systems, tools, and processes with intermediate-level proficiency to organize and report supplier data.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively with suppliers and internal partners to support successful outcomes.

What you'll bring to the role

  • A university degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Typically 3+ years of experience in expediting, procurement, supply chain, project coordination, or an equivalent environment.
  • The ability to evaluate supplier progress and identify practical solutions under guidance from senior staff.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle varied tasks within defined scopes and procedures.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts and influence others as needed.
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to build strong working relationships across teams and supplier networks.
  • Comfort working in systems and tools with an intermediate understanding of procurement or project support platforms.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving and schedule support.

Feel the energy at Worley with access to a range of benefits including paid-time off, holiday pay (usually 8 per year in the US), and eligibility to participate in the medical, life, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as 401K plan.
