About the Job

The Senior Production Planner is responsible for leading demand planning, production scheduling, and material planning activities to ensure Parry Labs' programs are delivered on time and in compliance with applicable standards. This role serves as a critical liaison between Program Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering, aligning customer demand with production capacity and supplier readiness.

Duties & Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules that align with customer requirements, program timelines, and available capacity
  • Translate demand forecasts into actionable material and capacity plans, ensuring timely procurement of long-lead and critical components
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to monitor supplier delivery schedules and proactively identify risks to production readiness
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing on order releases, build sequencing, and shop floor priorities to meet delivery targets
  • Partner with Program Management to provide schedule visibility, updates, and risk assessments for customer-facing commitments
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage planning data, monitor inventory health, and maintain accurate demand and supply signals
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100 standards through disciplined planning processes and accurate documentation
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning accuracy, responsiveness, and cross-functional alignment
  • Other duties as assigned.



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, materials planning, or supply chain within aerospace, defense, or electronics manufacturing
  • Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and planning tools
  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO standards and government contracting environments preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
