About the Job

Join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A, where you'll apply your expertise in financial statement modeling, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis to support high-impact government programs. This role is ideal for a data-driven finance professional who thrives on building scalable models, automating reporting tools, and delivering actionable insights to leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities



  • Lead the financial planning and forecasting process across multiple business areas and departments, to include annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and long-term financial planning (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Develop and maintain tools and models for gathering, aggregating, and reporting actual and forecast data for full three statement modeling and orders reporting.
  • Develop, design, maintain, and enhance financial reports and dashboards using Power BI, Costpoint BI, databases, Excel or similar tools to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Tool, template and process development, with a focus on automation, real-time reporting, and ease of use for the user while ensuring information is appropriately detailed.
  • Act as the primary point-of-contact for non-contract related forecasting (indirect expense, capital spend, inventory, etc.).
  • Forecast cash, in both direct and indirect methods. Maintain 13/26-week cash modeling and support regular updates and monitoring of cash.
  • Indirect rate development/modeling. Experience with rate variance analysis, speaking to both changes to the rates themselves and impacts to the business at large.
  • Identification and tracking of business risks and opportunities, as well as plans to either mitigate or achieve them.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align financial goals with business objectives and drive decision-making.
  • Monitor key financial metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Develop what-if / stress-test scenarios.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Corporate FP&A or a similar role in a government contracting environment.
  • Strong expertise in corporate forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, to include financial statement modeling, indirect rate modeling and management, and direct and indirect cash flow modeling.
  • Understanding of government contracting and various contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, etc.).
  • Strong data analysis capabilities, with an understanding of data processing, transformation, and dashboarding in Power BI, Costpoint BI, databases, Excel or similar tools.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Query, LAMBDA, LET functions, Pivots/Power Pivots, etc).
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP system.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of database and data warehouse architecture, design and best practices preferred.
