The Team

Within a project team, consultants, managers, and analysts coordinate their efforts to deliver client reports and deliverables. Consultants are responsible for building relationships with clients, directing projects, and presenting results. Project managers work directly with analysts by reviewing work, answering questions, and developing client correspondence. Analysts are responsible for the majority of the technical work, which may include analyzing data, completing actuarial calculations, developing and utilizing actuarial models, and implementing software solutions.

Job Responsibilities



  • Import, transform, and validate large healthcare data sets from multiple sources.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain data processes and workflows to support analytic and reporting needs.
  • Perform data profiling and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Build custom reports and exhibits to communicate findings and support client decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Milliman professionals to interpret results and deliver insights.
  • Participate in Milliman's quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to Milliman's quality standards.
  • Balance multiple client projects simultaneously, spending time on data management, analysis, automation, and reporting.


Minimum requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Public Health, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, data integration, and reporting concepts.
  • Experience with SQL and data manipulation and management.
  • Ability to interpret, clean, and explain complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite.

Location

Candidates hired into this role will work a hybrid schedule, working both remotely and from our Milliman office in Tampa, Florida.
